Refund Policy
General Policy. StratasNode (Gran Vía de Don Diego López de Haro, 44, Piso 3B — 48011, Bilbao, Bizkaia, España) provides digital services including web design, development, branding, and strategic consulting. Due to the bespoke and digital nature of our services, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis according to the project milestones and deliverables completed.
Milestone-Based Refunds. Projects are structured around defined milestones. If a project is cancelled before a milestone is completed, the Client is entitled to a refund of any payments made for that specific milestone, minus any administrative costs (maximum 10% of the milestone value) and costs already incurred for work performed.
Pre-Project Cancellation. If a project is cancelled before any work has commenced, a full refund of any advance payment will be issued within 14 business days, minus a non-refundable administrative fee of €150 to cover initial consultation and project scoping costs.
Deliverable Disputes. If the Client disputes the quality of a delivered milestone, the Controller will review the deliverable against the agreed specifications within 10 business days. If the deliverable materially fails to meet the specifications, the Controller will either: (a) rectify the deliverable at no additional cost; or (b) issue a partial refund proportional to the deviation from specifications.
Digital Products. Custom digital products (including but not limited to design files, code repositories, and brand assets) that have been delivered and transferred to the Client are non-refundable once accepted. The Client's right of withdrawal under EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU) is acknowledged, subject to the following: the right of withdrawal expires upon delivery of the digital content, provided the Client has given explicit consent and acknowledgment that this waives the right of withdrawal.
Dispute Resolution. Any disputes arising from refunds or payments shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably between the parties. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, either party may initiate proceedings before the competent courts of Bilbao, Bizkaia, España, in accordance with applicable Spanish and EU law.

Agreement to Terms. By accessing or using the services of StratasNode (Gran Vía de Don Diego López de Haro, 44, Piso 3B — 48011, Bilbao, Bizkaia, España), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
Services Scope. StratasNode provides digital design, development, branding, and consulting services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each engagement will be defined in a separate project proposal or statement of work (SOW) agreed upon by both parties.
Intellectual Property. Upon full payment of all invoices related to a project, the Client receives full ownership of all final deliverables, including source code, design files, and brand assets created specifically for the Client. The Controller retains the right to display the work in portfolio and case studies, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Pre-existing tools, frameworks, libraries, and methodologies used in the creation of deliverables remain the property of the Controller.
Confidentiality. Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the course of an engagement. This obligation survives the termination of the agreement for a period of two (2) years.
Limitation of Liability. The Controller's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. The Controller shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Payment Terms. Invoices are payable within 14 days of issuance unless otherwise specified in the SOW. Late payments will incur a statutory interest rate in accordance with Article 8 of the Spanish Late Payment Directive transposition (Law 3/2004). The Controller reserves the right to suspend work if payment is overdue by more than 21 days.
Termination. Either party may terminate an engagement with 14 days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Client will pay for all work completed up to the date of termination, calculated proportionally based on the project milestones.
Governing Law. These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bilbao, Bizkaia, España.
Amendments. The Controller reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active Clients via email. Continued use of services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
